Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem.

There are a lot of fools,
That walk away from love,
With foolish games they play,
They don't know,
love doesn't come every day,
But if love can come with burning flames,
on a whim,
Carpe Diem.
There are so many fools,
They take a heart with a touch,
Breaking love's rules,
Leaving the heart to break,
As if love wasn't worth much,
Like a Hollywood film.
Or the thorn on the rose's stem.
They only leave pain.
and a lonely heart in the rain,
There is a piper to pay,
They will wake up one day,
But if love comes with a burning flame.
On a whim,
Carpe Diem.
Carpe Diem/Seize The Day!

A Man named Cain

God heard Abel's cry,
As blood fell on the hands of Cain,
God's eyes filled with tears and pain,
Taken by the grim reaper,
Cain asked am I my brother's keeper?
Now face to face with the wrath of God,
Cain has become the man of Nod,

Hatred had blackened his heart,
Now a patron of the dark,
There must have been mercy in God,
For the man of Nod.

I believe there was a light,
That shined in the night,
Maybe because of the prayer's of Eve,
Maybe Cain started to believe,
It seems as if God spared the life,
He let Cain find a mate ,and a wife,
He let him build a city,
The man of the sod,.

This is the story of the man of Nod.
He once was a wanderer, spared from the rod,
God must have found mercy for the man of Nod.
He had Abel's blood on His hand,
I am talking about a man,
That must have lived a life of pain.
A wandering man,,,named Cain..
He must have found God's mercy..
I believe,
Maybe it was the prayers of Eve,
Maybe somehow He rose from the flame,
And God gave mercy to a man named Cain.

Song on the radio

I wish I could turn down the heartache,
Turn off the pain,
Unplug the memories,
of loving in vain,
I wish I could dance in the rain,
while the music plays slow,
I wish love was a song,
on the radio,
That I could turn on ,
and turn it down low,
I'd play the song, all night long,
With every beat of my heart,
with all of my soul,
I wish love was a song,
on the radio,

You are the tears in my eyes

You are the pain in my heart,
There is no light in the dark,
Love disaapears as passion dies
You are the tears in my eyes,
Once you were the smile , I smiled,
Once you made me feel young and wild,
I saw you as the stars in the skies,
Now you are the tears in my eyes.
You are the pain in my heart,
When love tears me apart,
You are love's sweet lies,
You are the tears in my eyes.
You are the flame
that hasn't stopped burning me yet,
You are love's bittersweet regret,
We watched the sunset
,but alone I watch the sun rise,
You are the tears in my eyes.

Love for a lifetime

Do you want to be in my world,
and love when it's storming,
Do you want to be loved by a woman?
Are you ready for love,
like mine?
Are you ready to love for a lifetime?
Do you want to make love,
when it's raining?
Do you want to feel, what it's like?
When the day turns to night,
and our love is still flaming,
Are you ready for love like mine?
Are you ready to love for a lifetime?
Are you ready to give everything,
Are you ready to reach for a dream?
Do you know what loving each other will mean?
Are you ready for love like mine?
Are you ready to love for a lifetime?
When you kiss me you know,
It goes to the heart and soul,
past my lips,to wanting more,
Than we've ever felt before.
Are you ready for love like mine?
Are you ready to love for a lifetime

The other mother

One woman smiled,
at her child,
One woman cried,
Her baby died.
One woman let her child live,
One woman let her child die,
Both had so much to give,
one mother smiled, the other mother cried.
There were two women this morn
One let her child be born,
The other mother has to mourne,
As she feels so empty inside,
One mother smiles with pride,
The other mother cried.

Trail of Tears

From Mary's arms,
To Calvary's storms,
With the carpenter's nail,
My sins disppears,
In a trail of tears.
From the manger in the stable,
To a cross on the hill,
From the dining table,
where the last supper was more than a meal, ,
As Jesus told His told time that grew near,
With the carpenter's nail,
My sins disappears,
In a trail of tears.
On the cross on the hill,
Was where Mary would kneel,
Where blood and tears fell,
With the carpetner's nail,
My sins disaapears,
In a trail of tears.
